Government does not create jobs -- but it can create a stable economic climate. Florida must encourage its business owners and entrepreneurs by keeping taxes low, maintaining fiscal discipline and providing a diversified workforce -- not relying on so-called stimulus funds. The government must reduce regulations and cut red tape so businesses -- from mom and pops to corporations -- can grow and create jobs.
